Reporting to the Executive Director this person is responsible for providing high level support to help meet performance goals and organizational initiatives in a fast-paced environment. This position will play a critical role providing operational and administrative support to help ensure our organization can run efficiently and successfully carry out the mission and vision of the American Indian Cultural District. AICD is seeking a Engagement Coordinator (COMING SOON)

Reporting to the Executive Director & the Director of Community Development this person is responsible for community engagement and broader outreach. This position will play a critical role in supporting the mission and vision of the American Indian Cultural District by expanding our community engagement and outreach efforts so we can connect and increase the visibility of American Indian events, news, and initiative comms in the Cultural District and the City. Leadership Council Oppurtunities

AICD is seeking new Council Members

We are calling all local American Indian community members to help shape the future of the American Indian Cultural District (AICD) by voting on our two open community elected Leadership Council Seats: a Cultural Bearer Representative and a Two Spirit/LGBTQIA+ Leadership Representative. 

The nominees were chosen through an online and in person community nomination process that closed on March 28th, 2025. Once chosen, Leadership Council Members will serve a two-year term and will be required to attend up to six (6) Council Meetings annually

Leadership Council Members provide recommendations, knowledge, expertise, critical thinking, decision-making, and analysis to support the development of the Cultural District. The Council comprises appointed leadership from local American Indian serving organizations, tribes, Native American-owned businesses, youth leadership, and community elected leadership seats. These community leadership appointed Council Seats are expected to be active and recognized community leaders, share information with the local community, and help elevate AICD community attendance and participation.
