Community Gardening & Land Stewardship Program
American Indian Cultural District & Golden Gate National Park Conservancy Community Gardening & Land Stewardship Program Plan 2025
About the Land Stewardship Program
Over the last four years we have built a partnership with Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy to develop a community-led land stewardship and gardening program that emphasizes spiritual, emotional, physical, and mental well-being while through culturally and traditionally rooted practices.
Join us for hands-on intergenerational programs focused on rebuilding a garden at Black Point Historic Gardens and stewarding areas across the city to connect with the land and each other while increasing community access to National Parks.
Upcoming Program Dates:
June 21st, Alcatraz Island (tickets provided)
July 19th, Muir Woods in Mill Valley
August 9th, Black Point Historic Gardens at upper Fort Mason
October 25th, Marin Headlands in Mill Valley
