Community Gardening & Land Stewardship Program

American Indian Cultural District & Golden Gate National Park Conservancy Community Gardening & Land Stewardship Program Plan 2025

About the Land Stewardship Program

Over the past four years, we have grown a partnership with the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy to develop our Community Land Stewardship & Gardening Program. This community-led program series is focused on spiritual, emotional, physical, and mental well-being through culturally and traditionally rooted practices.

Join us for hands-on, intergenerational programs focused on rebuilding Native American-led gardens at Black Point Historic Garden and stewarding other areas throughout the city to connect with the land and each other while increasing public access to National Parks. All ages and cultural backgrounds are welcome.
