Melissa Isais Valencia

Melissa Isais Valencia is the Lead Operations Coordinator at the American Indian Cultural District. Melissa graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2020 with a B.A. in Ethnic Studies, with a concentration in Comparative Ethnic Studies. Melissa has always fiercely advocated racial equity and justice for marginalized  communities. Her professional experience includes the legal field, specifically in personal injury and immigration law, and she has also worked in the insurance industry. Melissa obtained her Notary Commission in 2023.

She loves to paint, travel with her husband, and walk her dogs when she is away from the office.
